Terms of Service
The plain-language rules for using Nicanur. By downloading or using the app, you agree to these terms.
1) What Nicanur is
Nicanur is a desktop app that runs an AI assistant on your own computer. The free version works offline with no account. A paid subscription adds encrypted sync between your devices and live web search.
2) Your account
If you create an account, you're responsible for keeping your email and password safe. You must be old enough to enter a binding contract in your country to subscribe. Don't use Nicanur for anything illegal or to harm others.
3) Subscriptions and billing
- The paid plan is $5/month, billed through PayPal.
- Your subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel.
- By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your PayPal account on each renewal date.
- Prices may change; we'll give notice before any change affects you.
4) Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel anytime from Settings in the app or from your PayPal account. When you cancel, your paid features stay active until the end of the period you already paid for, then stop. We don't offer pro-rated refunds for partial months, but if something went wrong, email us and we'll make it right.
5) Your content
Your chats and files are yours. Most of them never leave your computer — see our Privacy notes for exactly what our server can and can't see. We don't claim ownership of anything you create with Nicanur.
6) The app is provided "as is"
We work hard to make Nicanur reliable, but we can't promise it will be perfect or available all the time. To the extent the law allows, Nicanur is provided without warranties, and we aren't liable for indirect or incidental damages from using the app. AI answers can be wrong — double-check anything important.
7) Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the app evolves. If we make a significant change, we'll update the date below and, where appropriate, let you know in the app.
