Your messages stay on your computer. We can't read them. Even if you're offline, the AI keeps working.

Send Nicanur a PDF, a text file, or a note — it reads them and answers your question. Photo understanding is optional and needs a quick free add-on (we guide you through it).

Looks things up

Need the latest news, today's weather, or a quick fact? Nicanur searches the web for you and tells you where it found it.

Remembers you

Nicanur remembers what's important — your dog's name, your favorite recipes — so it feels like chatting with someone who knows you.

Works on all your devices

Have a paid plan? Your chats and memories follow you from one computer to another, locked with a key only you hold.

Find old chats

Every conversation is saved on your computer. Look back at last week's chat anytime, rename it, or delete it.

The AI is inside your computer

When you ask Nicanur a question, your computer answers it — the conversation itself never goes to the internet. (If you use web search, only that one question goes straight to a search provider — not to us.)

Only your account info touches our server

To sign in and remember your subscription, we need your email — that's all. Web searches don't even pass through us: they go straight from your computer to the search provider. We never see your conversations.

Your sync key never leaves your devices

Sign in with the same email on another device and your chats appear automatically — still encrypted. The key is derived on your device from your password, so we never see it and can't read your chats.

Where does the AI actually live?

Inside your computer, like Microsoft Word or any other program. It runs even without internet.

So you can't see my chats?

Correct. We can't, because they never come to us. Your computer talks to the AI, that's it.

Do I need internet?

Only for the first download. After that you can chat offline — though web search needs a connection.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. The free version never expires and needs no account. If you add the $5/mo sync plan, you can cancel it anytime from inside the app — no phone calls, no hassle.
