1. What Data We Collect

We collect ZERO personal data.

Unlike cloud-based AI assistants, Nicanur operates entirely on your local machine. Your:

• Files and documents
• Emails (when connected to Gmail)
• Calendar events
• Google Drive files
• Conversations with the AI

All of this stays on YOUR computer. We never see it, store it, or have access to it.

2. Google OAuth Integration

When you connect your Google account:

• Authentication tokens are stored locally on your device only
• We use OAuth 2.0 (industry standard security)
• Your Google password is never shared with us
• You can revoke access anytime from your Google Account settings
• We have no server-side storage of your Google data

3. Data Processing

All AI processing happens through OpenAI's API. When you send a command:

• Your request is sent to OpenAI for processing
• OpenAI's privacy policy applies to this processing
• The response is returned to your local machine
• We do not store or log these requests on any server

4. Local Storage

Nicanur stores the following locally on your computer:

• Your settings and preferences
• OAuth tokens (encrypted)
• Session data

All stored in: %APPDATA%/Nicanur/ (Windows) or ~/.nicanur/ (Mac/Linux)

To delete all data, simply uninstall the application.

5. Third-Party Services

• OpenAI: For AI language processing
• Google APIs: For calendar, email, sheets, drive access (when authorized by you)

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Disconnect Google at any time
• Delete all local data by uninstalling the app
• Request information about your data (we don't have any - it's all local)

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page.
